CALL TO ARTISTS
Thomasville Center for the Arts is looking for teams of 5 to create a community-wide public art project that will celebrate the 25th Wildlife Arts Festival.
Each team should include five artists (ages 8 and up) and must be led by or include one or more adults, to create an elevated public artwork inspired by tree rings.
Using the visual art style of your choice, these rings will be applied to a 2′ x 5′ banner that will be provided by TCA, and displayed for the community to see during a WAF Art Walk.

Thomasville Center for the Arts is looking for creative, self-motivated artists/visionaries with the desire to work on public art projects. This intern/interns will be led through the complete process for system management of documents across various platforms, and have the opportunity to be a true team-player with input in both design and implementation, as well as interaction across TCA programs. This is an amazing learning experience for any person aspiring to work in the art field.
Marketing, graphic design, writing skills and experience with virtual platforms is a plus, but not required. Flexible on hours, but prefer a minimum of 2 days/week beginning August OR September 2020. Some applicants may be eligible for class credit from their college or university. Accepted interns will receive perks that include: tickets to events, class and workshop opportunities, and a free membership to THOM Collective.

Thomasville, Georgia comes alive for six weeks in Spring 2021 with (21) 12’x 15’ temporary canvas murals installed on historic brick buildings throughout The Bottom Creative District. Artists design and paint murals that depict a person, place, or idea that contributes to Thomasville’s identity.
