What is Due South?

What is Thomasville Center for the Arts doing to keep guests safe during ShinDig?

Thomasville Center for the Arts will be implementing safety protocols to ensure guests, staff and volunteers are adhering to CDC recommended guidelines around gatherings. We ask that all guests attending ShinDig follow these suggested safety protocols so we can all get back to enjoying live music.

  • Instead of gathering in a big way we have limited capacity to safely gather in a “Party Pod” with up to 8 guests in each dedicated space.
  • Party Pods will be spaced according to current recommended guidelines for outdoor gatherings and events.
  • This is the max number of people allowed in each Party Pod. You may purchase a Party Pod for less people but will have to pay the published price (Private Party Pods are available at our Opener Sponsorship level starting at $2,000)
  • All food & beverage will be served to your Party Pod.
  • Guests will be encouraged to stay in their Party Pod, with the exception of restroom.
  • The wearing of masks will be enforced when guests are not in their Party Pod. Complimentary masks will be available.
  • Increased hand washing and sanitizing stations will be at every entry and gathering point.
  • All guests, staff and volunteers will have temperatures taken upon check-in.

Will Thomasville Center for the Arts or their partners be hosting other events this Spring?
Check back frequently on our 2nd Saturday page and keep current with all of the programming and events The Center is hosting. We also invite you to visit our partner page to learn about programming and events their organizations will be hosting.

What is the price to attend Due South ShinDig?

Please visit our Sponsor page for buying options. Click Here.

What if I have a roll-over ticket from Due South 2020?

We have been contacting all roll-over sponsors directly to secure your designated Party Pod(s).

*Please note that general admission Due South roll-over tickets are not eligible for Due South ShinDig. We are hosting a 2nd Saturday event, April 10, 2021, that loosely models (in a smaller way) Due South general admission and we will be contacting you to roll-over your general admission ticket to that event. Thank you for understanding and working with us as we work to provide engaging community programming that supports Thomasville Center for the Arts fundraising efforts.

Are kids allowed to ShinDig?

Unfortunately, no. Not this year. We’re going to miss the kiddos but with continued regulations and challenges due to COVID, this year’s ShinDig will be 21 and over. We encourage you to bring the family to our 2nd Saturday open-air concert on April 10, 2021 – stay tuned for more details on our 2nd Saturday page and social media @thomasvillearts.

The person/business purchasing your Party Pod seats will have wristbands and tickets mailed or delivered to them prior to ShinDig. Please do not put on your wristband until your temperature has been taken at check-in.

Re-entry Policy

We ask kindly that you come to the event with the intention to stay the duration. If you must leave and come back, please wear your wristband the whole time as it will allow you to reenter.

Parking is limited. We will be utilizing part of the parking lot at The Biscuit Company for check-in and ticketing. We encourage you to carpool with your Party Pod attendees.

We would also like to encourage you to schedule an Uber, driving service or designate a driver if you and your Party Pod intend to enjoy brew & spirits during ShinDig.

What is the weather plan?

This is an outdoor event that will happen rain or shine. Please be prepared for forecasted weather. Should major weather arise, all Party Pod ticket holders will be contacted via email.

Will I get a refund if there is a cancellation due to COVID?

If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 or other Public Health concerns ticket holders will have an opportunity to donate with a tax donation letter, get a refund or roll over their sponsorship to another event hosted by Thomasville Center for the Arts in 2021.
