Thomasville Center for the Arts’ Public Art Team, challenged Tallahassee artist, Charlie Hart to take inspiration from his compelling miniature bug illustrations and create a firefly mural to educate the community on firefly types during BUGOUT- a public art exhibition invading the nooks and crannies in The Bottom|Creative District with spectacular works of art to widen your view of the winged and wonderful bug’s world.
Charlie Hart is a local, freelance artist from Tallahassee, Florida. He works alongside his mom at The Hare and the Hart here in Thomasville. He is also studies Studio Art at Florida State University. Charlie works small scale with pen and ink but he also does a lot of painting. He is always open to collaborate with other artists and he is interested in doing more large works such as this one.
