It’s an Americana Celebration!

On July 1, 2, 3 & 5 we’ll be practicing with patriotic arts with painting, sculpting, recycled arts and collage-making! Your student is invited for camp at Thomasville Center for the Arts Downtown at 209 W. Remington Avenue from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day.

  • Monday, July 1
    Freedom to Create
    Join us for painting, sculpting, recycled arts and collage making all things to
    celebrate the red, white & blue. Paint wooden flags, wind chimes, and collage your version of what it means to be free! Several media options are given during this camp.


  • Tuesday, July 2
    Transform Trash to Treasure
    Making America Beautiful. Students will learn the importance of recycling and reusing. Making rockets and flags from recycled materials. Painting and sculpture with recycled materials makes for an environmentally beautiful day!


  • Wednesday, July 3
    United States Landscapes
    Paint your favorite scenes using watercolors & acrylics. Students will be inspired by
    images from American nature including animals and landscapes. Also available is to infuse collage and poetry.


  • Friday, July 5
    Funky Friday
    Make an amalgamation of art projects that were made throughout the week – a
    recycled art project, collage and watercolor, landscapes, animals from America and much more!
