Classes + Workshops
Thomasville Center for the Arts believes everyone needs a space for artistic expression and purposeful creativity. Adult classes and studios are designed to bring high quality fine arts experiences for the novice, emerging, and professional artist. Youth education frames the world with the arts at the forefront.
Performances
The Center’s restored historic theater, seating 400, provides the perfect backdrop for dance, music, and drama. Resident arts education partners utilize our performance spaces to provide high-quality artistic instruction in visual art, music, dance and performing arts, as well as bring renowned professional artists and performers to Southwest Georgia.
Festivals
Festival experiences serve as the cornerstone of the Center’s community-forward programming. Locals and visitors alike travel from near and far to take in everything from fine art and renowned guest lecturers, to funky music, interactive art, and southern soul foods.
Thomasville Center for the Arts is committed to making facilities, programs, services, and employment accessible for visitors and employees with disabilities. There are multiple accessible parking spaces in the Washington Street parking lot. The wheelchair and stroller accessible entrance is located to the left of the main Washington Street entrance.
