Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 4:00 to explore your creative side through art workshops, kids’ activities, exhibitions, and more. There’s something to bring out the artist in everyone! General entry is free, with ticketed workshops available.

All events are free unless otherwise noted.

Family Make & Take | 10 am – 2 pm, Drop-In
Relief Printmaking

During this activity, we will carve small blocks made of soft material that we will use as stamps on paper and other materials. Students will be taught how to safely use carving tools to create their design, thinking about positive and negative space. We will then experiment with colors and printing in multiple to create patterns and complex images from simple blocks. Be prepared to get a little messy and allow your inner artist to shine through! Ages 5 and up, accompanied by an adult.

Drop in any time between 10 am – 2 pm. All materials provided. $10 per non-member family, free to members.

THOM Collective Exhibition | 10 am – 2 pm, Drop-In
Explore over 100 pieces of art created by emerging artists throughout our region. Take home a piece of one-of-a-kind work, and support this community of creative professionals as we help them in the development of their artistic careers. Free for members, suggested $5 donation for non-members.

Adult Workshop | 11 am – 1 pm
Linocut Printmaking

Join artist Sam McCoy for a linocut printmaking workshop. This class will teach you all you need to know to create a beautiful, well-made linocut from first draft to final print.

Sam will introduce participants to materials and tools, guide them through creating a draft that is well-fitted for relief printing, and show carving techniques and little tricks that help to get better results.

This workshop is open to all levels, but because of the tools used, you must be at least 18 years old to attend.  All you need to bring is a bit of patience (it’s a crafty technique!) and some enthusiasm for printmaking. All materials provided. $35 for non-members, free to members.
