CONFIGURACIONES
Laura De Valencia
November 2023 – January 2024

Through an investigative process of map-drawing in her youth, contemporary artist Laura De Valencia developed a unique connection with borders, land, and water. Drawing maps has always given her insight and an intuitive understanding of how surveyed geographical features were manually depicted through lines, grids, and geometry — elements that later emerged formally in her paintings.

Marlo Ransdell
October 6 – November 7, 2023

Sheets of acrylic and plywood are transformed through purposeful fabrication methods in designer Ransdell’s exhibition. She sheds light on mathematical and digital design methods within the world of contemporary furniture design. This showcased collection is part of a process… an unfinished idea that continues to grow and evolve. Through this process, Ransdell illustrates how design concepts and collaboration can bring customization to simple furnishings in our daily lives.

HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
Susan Hable
April 13 – May 19, 2023

With materiality at its core, Susan Hable’s body of work is an exploration of gesture. In combination with fervent investigations of form, texture, and color, the inherent movement present exhibits a fresh physicality; viewers will sense a performative aspect in each sculpture and painting. Employing traditional mediums such as clay and oil, the work is as expressive and alive as their original source, the earth.
